How to Install MIUI 10 in Your Xiaomi Phones? With Images

MIUI 10 is the latest Xiaomi ROM update available to us. In this blog i am going to guide you on how to install the MIUI 10 in you Xiaomi Phones. Previous day i successfully installed MIUI 10 in My Xiaomi Note 5 Pro. Even though it is beta version, i was able to install the update without any problems. 

Things to Know

A Lot of Features are available in the all new MIUI 10 update. To talk about in this update is the design.

The recent screen and notification panel design is more beautiful than before in this new update. Moreover can see slight change in the performance as well after the update. However, you need to read the complete article and learn how to install MIUI 10. When you update your phone to MIUI 10 , there is no option to reverse it back to the older version.

Step 1 : Back up

For your information , Before you install the update make sure to move all your requires data's in your phone to a memory card or to online storage's. Because the update will remove all the data's in your phone.

STEP 2 : Normal Procedure

In normal situations we update Xiaomi phones by going to settings -> about phone and then system updates. When we tap on check for updates , it will show if there are any updates available for the phone.Since this is beta version the updates will be visible only if we are using the old version of this beta version. But 99% of the users are not using the beta version. So t will show that there are no updates available. So to install it you need to follow the steps below.

Step 3: Download ROM File

For people who are using MIUI 7, MIUI 8, MIUI 9 the MIUI 10 beta version wont be available directly as an update.So we have to go to the Mi website and download the suited MIUI version. The size of the file might be around 1.30 GB. Firstly you have to check whether MIUI 10 is supported in your phone or not before you download.

Step 4

After downloading , move the file to downloaded_ROM folder.

After that, go to settings -> about phone ->system update . Tap on the three dots above.

You will be able to see a menu. Tap Choose update package.

Step 7

You will arrive at file manager. Then Select the file we downloaded and moved to downloaded_rom.

Step 8

Before installing , will inform you that all the data's in the phone will be deleted. Accept and it will start the MIUI 10 update.

Step 9

You need to make sure that the phone charge is full. Once the update starts the phone will go off. 

at least there must be 50% charge in your phone. once the update is completed the phone will be on.

And your phone is now MIUI 10 Oreo Global Beta Rom.
