HTC Drop in Qatar

HTC was one of the best phone among the people in Qatar. But now the graph is going down and down.When they released the HTC M8 that was one of the best phones to use around that timing and i have seen people still using that product.But the next model of M8 was not a success. Still some how they managed to stay in the Qatar market. But as from the reports of HTC their revenue is drop like anything.It is like they do not have a chance to grow back again. Well, They do have chance to grow but to what extend that is now a question.

The financial reports of HTC does not look so good compared to the last year. It is doubtful whether i company can last long or not.And inquiries for HTC phones are also very low. People do ask for HTC because they want to buy a cheaper phone. But now HTC is very hard to find here in Qatar.I still remember the metal body of M8. But other companies followed the trend like the iPhone notch and HTC lost their value.

The company is still surviving because of their VR business and some Google deals with HTC. I think these are the only reasons why the company is still alive. With the support of Google they are able to over come certain hurdles in this market. But the question is till what extend again? I feel like HTC is completely off Qatar market. I do not know about other countries but here its completely down.

Since the market for HTC smartphones are down in the market they are planning to focus more of AR/VR business as they are earning a good revenue on this business. The founder himself mentioned about this. Certain reports also states that the company might shutdown manufacturing smartphones or else it just waste of money it seems.
